Simple Health Mistakes that Surprise Some Smart Women


Most of the women are smarter than men in keeping their bodies in good condition. Sometimes their over anxiety lead them to misunderstanding and what they do brings odd results. It is interesting to read such incidents.

Summer is the season of fun and entertainments. It is the season when people go out for more outdoor activities. More women go out for outdoor activities. When they go out they seem to be very smart – smarter than men – and take all precautions to prevent unnecessary health problems. But they end up in silly mistakes.

Simple things that surprise the health of some smart women.

This may seem to be rare mistakes that go unnoticed. This is a surprising detail about a few simple mistakes committed by some smart women of our area. Is it a stupid mistake or something to laugh at as a fun of summer? Or is it the outcome of extreme carefulness? Here are some examples of such simple things that had ended up jeopardizing the health of some friendly womenfolk.

Ms Jennifer was always ordering for salads to avoid fat.

Whenever Ms Jennifer goes for a party outside she used to order for salad. Is it not healthy to order for a salad which is a good choice to avoid a high-fat burger or French fries? That is what Ms. Jennifer thought. But she was shocked when she found it to be loaded with fat! Then only she learnt that when you order a salad you should go for the ones that actually have vegetables with low-fat dressing. Many are not aware that not all salads are healthy.


Ms Sandra is too worried about sleep and weight control.

Ms Sandra is more particular about weight. She knows that sleeplessness and irregular sleep would cause her problems. She is too worried to get a good sleep that her anxiety does not allow her to sleep. Another thing she was doing regularly was checking her weight every alternate days of the scale she had bought for that purpose. Whenever she stands on the scale the needle tells a story, different from her expectations and this again makes her more anxious and worried.

Ms Julia always forgets to floss well.

It is not that Ms Julia does not know about the importance of flossing for oral health, but because of her anxiety to finish the tasks in her “to-do list” that make her forget about flossing. It may be shocking to know that more than 23% of women aged between 30 and 54 have severe gum problems.

Ms Kathy avoids lifting weights fearing that it would build up her muscles.

Many women have this impression. They do not want to lift any weight. They fear that lifting weights may build up their muscles “too much”.

This Women do things better and are more careful in maintaining their health than men. But they commit some mistakes because of their over anxiety about their health.
